Lurleen B. Wallace Community College and the City of Greenville are once again Driving for Excellence in Education by hosting the fourth annual LBWCC-Camellia City Classic Golf Tournament, September 15, at Cambrian Ridge Golf Course.

According to LBWCC President, Dr. Herbert H. J. Riedel, the proceeds from this event will go directly to scholarships and student activities on the Greenville Campus.

A recently completed Technology Center houses offices for the Butler County Economic Development Commission, classrooms, labs, and administrative & faculty offices. The new Wendell Mitchell Conference Center has been completed and includes a spacious, modern, multipurpose facility, which will accomodate 300 guests.
