Department of Community Development & Planning

Welcome to the City of Greenville Department of Community Development and Planning.  It is this department’s responsibility to assist and serve the citizens and developers with the land development process in order to insure quality development for the City of Greenville.

RESPONSIBILITES
Attend all Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment meetings.  Oversee all Development Plans, Subdivision of Property, Re-zoning and Variances for the City of Greenville.  Our Department conducts inspections of residential and commercial buildings.  In addition, we issue all Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and other miscellaneous permits.
