Greenville Housing Authority Officer

Sgt. Al Dyess is assigned to the Greenville Housing Authority.  This assignment was created to have a greater police presence in the public housing complexes and it covers all public housing complexes in the City of Greenville.  Sgt. Dyess makes sure the residents are kept safe from outside, detrimental influences while promoting a positive influence to the children who live in the housing projects.  Sgt. Dyess also plays an important role in checking the backgrounds of those who apply to live in the public housing complexes in Greenville.

Community Resource Officer/Public Information

Lt. Anthony Barganier serves as the Greenville Police Department's Community Resource and Public Information Officer.  In his role as Community Resource Officer,  Lt. Barganier liaisons with the community to help resolve issues that are of concern to citizens of Greenville.  He also interacts with the media to insure an open line of communication on issues of interest to the community.
