Referral Service:  Many calls are received daily at the local chamber office asking about all aspects of visiting or living in our area.  The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce only gives out the names of our membership.  Add your name to our list!!!

Business Exposure:  Members may bring brochures advertising their business to the Chamber office for newcomers. Don’t miss the chance to be in our magazine that we will include in visitor/prospective resident packets that are sent out all over the United States.

Internet Presence:  Members of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce who provide us with their internet address will be automatically linked through the Chamber site on www.greenville-alabama.com.  There is no charge for this service and it has proven to be quite a “hit” for those members who are linked.

Training Sessions/Seminars:  A recent survey indicated that our membership is interested in our providing them with information on marketing, displays, the Internet, customer service, and tourism.  It is our hope that sessions dealing with the latest data on these topics will be available for our membership.

Monthly Newsletter: All members receive a copy of our newsletter Chamber Notes keeping them up to date on happenings of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce.  There is also the opportunity to sponsor our newsletter.  This gives our members the chance to learn more about your company.

Business Before & After Hours:  These are member-only social events held at local businesses before or after work to give attendees an opportunity to network with other area people who want Greenville to be the best it can be.  Lots of good food and drink!!!

Low Country Boil: A Chamber annual event!!  Admission is charged and the community is invited to come enjoy a real Louisiana seafood boil.  Held in the fall, this event draws a crowd who continue to “come back for more”.  Door prizes are awarded and music and dancing are a part of the fare.

Celebrate America: A yearly event hosted by the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce. This may be an all day event including fireworks and a concert or just simply a day in the park with hotdogs and popcorn. No matter how large or how small, it proves to be a community event loved by all.

Christmas Wrapping Promotion:  Buy your Christmas presents in Greenville and we will wrap them for FREE! Just bring your gifts and receipts to One Depot Square/the train depot.

Christmas Parade:  Every December, Santa arrives in Greenville via fire truck to start our holiday season.  Local organizations participate each year.  Be sure to pick your parade application at the Chamber office.
